Day 3 in Hospital

Good Afternoon!

I was thrilled to see Claudia this morning and she continues to gain strength.  She looks great and had lots of color in her cheeks.  Beginning at 5 a.m. this morning, Claudia made her first lap for the day around the 5th floor.  She was able to complete another one and a half laps later in the morning.
  
Bruce says she is stronger today than she was yesterday, and he sees a lot of progress.  She was in great spirits today, though tired at times.  Her beautiful children, Bruce, her mom and dad, and close running friend were also there today.

While visiting her, a nurse came in to do some lung exercises with her.  She performed extremely well, and he said she did much better than yesterday!  

Claudia was given lunch, and overall seemed to have a really good day today!  She is a ROCK STAR!!!  And I'm blessed to know this amazing woman!   Again, thank you for your love, support and prayers.....keep them coming.  Recovery is a HUGE part of this procedure and she needs us now more than ever before!
